Réka is a Hungarian - American production designer
+ set decorator, born in Los Angeles to Hungarian parents. She moved to Hungary at the age of 6 and lived there for 19 years before moving back to LA in 2015.
She is known for her attention to detail and deep involvement in the story and character development and its demonstration through visuals. She believes that production design is not only for making the set aesthetically appealing, but is also to help quietly tell the story in the background, while staying true to the history and psychology of the script.
Réka is passionate about contemporary interior design and absolutely loves to design period movies. She has designed/ decorated every decade from the 20th century so far, and aims to layer her designs by mixing styles, to create a more eclectic lived in visual.
